I found there are a few places I enjoy blogging or writing my novels. It doesn’t have to be at the comfortable of my home every day where there are many distractions. I found the local library to be quite useful and peaceful. There I can jot down my ideas on the paper or lap top while contemplating the beautiful view from the glass window. Depending on the day of the week, there are also professional writers who can help with some editing or give some great ideas. Some days, I have been hanging out with writers in some of the many coffee shops spread across Madison area. Because writing is something we, writers, must do regularly, it doesn’t have to be boring and feel as it is an obligation. I remember going to my favorite coffee shop in the summer, just to sit down on the comfortable leather couches and give the best of me. In airports can be quite fun, too, as the time goes faster as we wait to go on a plane. If I had written a few of my novels while waiting to go on board due to the many flight delays I had, including mechanical problems, bad weather conditions, etc. I would have certainly finished my first novel long time ago. Writing is something you must do every day and there isn’t another way around. If not every day, a schedule is very import ant to keep yourself motivated. Think like an author. If you want to make that book happens, you must treat writing as a business. Follow your dreams. Most important, set your goals so the dreams can come true.
